Preston on Ice reserves the right to refuse entry to the ice rink or venue at its discretion. Security checks may be carried out to ensure the safety of all visitors.

Preston on Ice may, at any time, request that guests leave the venue. Anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who behaves in a way deemed inappropriate by Preston on Ice, may be removed from the premises.

Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited within the rink area and changing facilities. Only food and beverages purchased from the on-site bar may be consumed in the designated bar area. Food and beverages are not permitted inside the Skate Exchange or on the Ice.

Preston on Ice reserves the right to close the rink or restrict access to areas around the venue at short notice and without prior warning if necessary. All such decisions made by Preston on Ice are final.

By entering the premises, visitors consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional purposes related to Preston on Ice.

Skating while intoxicated is not allowed. Preston on Ice reserves the right to remove anyone deemed unsafe to themselves or others.

Tickets

Children aged 13 and under must be accompanied on the ice by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to determine whether their child is capable of skating safely.

All tickets include skate hire. Guests are welcome to bring their own skates, but Preston on Ice reserves the right to refuse their use if they are considered unsafe or unsuitable.

Entry to the ice rink is by ticket only. Each skater must hold a valid ticket, which is subject to the venue’s rules and regulations.

Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged or resold. Altered or defaced tickets will be considered void. It is the customer’s responsibility to check ticket details as errors cannot always be corrected. Preston on Ice is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

Tickets grant access to a skating session of the value indicated. Each ticket covers a one-hour period, which includes a 45-minute skating session. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked time slot. During peak periods (such as weekends and school holidays), arriving 30 minutes early is recommended.

Late arrivals may still be permitted entry but will have reduced time on the ice. Once your allocated session has ended, you must leave the rink area.

Skate Aids

Please note that Preston on Ice limits the number of Skate Aids to 20 per session. These may be pre-booked online on a first-come, first-served basis, or hired from the Box Office if available. Skate Aids are only for children under 10 years old and under 110cm in height. Any pre-booked Skate Aids not collected within 15 minutes of a session starting may be reallocated at the discretion of Preston on Ice.

Refunds

All tickets for Preston on Ice are non-refundable. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or credited for future sessions. This policy ensures we can manage our sessions safely and efficiently for all visitors. We kindly ask you to double-check your booking details before completing your purchase, and to plan ahead for your visit. Thank you for your understanding.

If a skating session is cancelled or cut short, customers will be offered an alternative session (subject to availability). As this is an outdoor attraction, refunds or exchanges will not be issued due to weather conditions. In the unlikely event that the rink must close for safety reasons, an alternative session will be offered, again subject to availability.
Customers removed from the rink or venue for inappropriate behaviour will not be entitled to a refund or a replacement session.

Risk

Ice skating carries inherent risks, and participation is entirely at the skater’s own discretion. Individuals with medical conditions, previous injuries, broken bones, joint issues, head injuries, pregnancy, mobility concerns, or those taking prescribed medication should consider carefully whether it is safe to participate. Preston on Ice accepts no liability for injuries, losses, or damages sustained, except where caused by negligence on the part of Preston on Ice. Additionally, Preston on Ice cannot be held responsible for injuries caused by other skaters.

Preston on Ice is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended in the venue.
